Life is our own story, and we are the writers. Every choice, every action, adds a new page. No one else can live it for us. Only we can design our story, paint it with our own colors, and make it a life worth remembering.

Life is like an empty book, and we are the authors of our own story. No one else can write our chapters, make our choices, or decide how our journey unfolds. Every decision we make, every action we take, adds a new page to our story. We face challenges, experience joy and sadness, and meet people who shape us but ultimately, it is our own effort, courage, and vision that design the life we live.

We cannot control everything, but we can control how we respond, how we grow, and how we pursue our dreams. Only we can decide what kind of person we want to become, what values we hold, and what legacy we leave behind. Each day is a chance to write something meaningful, to paint our life with our own colors, and to create a story we are proud of.

                                         

In the end, life belongs to us. It is not to anyone else. Only we have the power to design our own story, and only we can make it worth telling.

 I'm Thilina Malshan Perera . I'm 22 years old. I'm from Marawila. I'm the one and only child to my parents. I'm currently an undergraduate student in University of Visual and Performing Arts. Simply, I'm one of the breathing humans in this world. Dance is my passion. So I always try to learn some more new things that related to my path. To date I can dance Sri Lankan traditional dance, Indian classical Kathak dance style, Modern Contemperory dance too..  Personally I know that, dance is the way to satisfy my own self. Delayed Dreams

‘ Waiting for Our Academic Journey to Begin🎓’  I am currently a first-year student at the University of Visual and Performing Arts. In our batch, most students were born in 2004, but there are also students born in 2002, 2003, and 2005. However, the sad situation is that although we completed our G.C.E. Advanced Level examination in 2023–2024 and were selected to the university in the same year, we are still at home. Our academic activities started online in September 2025, but even by February 2026, we are still not attending to physical lectures.            We were supposed to start physical lectures on the 23rd of March 2026, but due to a global issue, it was postponed again. As students, we truly wish to start our academic journey on time, complete our degree within the proper period, and move forward with our own careers and lives. The most unforgettable role in my life

           ‘  The period I spent as the head prefect of my school  ’    is my most unforgettable leading role in my life. I am the former head prefect of St.Sebastian’s Central College Katuneriya in 2022-2023.                         My school was established on 1873 AD. Since that period onwards, I am the first and only head prefect that emerged from the dancing section. During my duty period there were 90 prefects under me and the other head prefect girl , such as 4 Deputy head prefects , 58 senior prefects and 28 junior prefects.
